Pack a basket\, grab a blanket\, and join Mullingar Concert Band for a relaxed afternoon of open-air music. \nThis is a quintessential summer experience for the whole family\, featuring a program of upbeat classics\, popular medleys\, and sun-soaked melodies. \nEvent Details\n\nDate: Sunday\, 24th May 2026\nTime: Music starts at 3:00 PM – 4.30 PM\nLocation: Mullingar Town Park\nAdmission: FREE (No tickets required—just show up!)\nVibe: Family-friendly\, relaxed\, and community-focused.\n\nWhat to Bring\nTo make the most of the afternoon\, we encourage our guests to bring: \n\nA Picnic: Support local shops and pack some treats to enjoy during the performance.\nSeating: Low-backed chairs or picnic blankets are highly recommended as seating is not provided.\nThe Whole Family: From toddlers to grandparents\, there’s something for everyone in our program!\n\nWeather Notice ☀️/☁️\nAs this is an outdoor performance\, we are at the mercy of the Irish weather! \n\nWeather Permitting: In the event of heavy rain\, the performance may be postponed or moved.\nStay Updated: Please check our Facebook or Instagram pages on the morning of the 24th for a final weather update and “Go/No-Go” announcement.\n\nAbout the Band\nMullingar Concert Band is proud to be a staple of Westmeath’s musical heritage.
