Following our indoor recital, we’re taking the music outdoors! Pack a basket, grab a blanket, and join Mullingar Concert Band for a relaxed afternoon of open-air music.
This is a quintessential summer experience for the whole family, featuring a program of upbeat classics, popular medleys, and sun-soaked melodies.

- Admission: FREE (No tickets required—just show up!)

What to Bring
To make the most of the afternoon, we encourage our guests to bring:
- A Picnic: Support local shops and pack some treats to enjoy during the performance.
- Seating: Low-backed chairs or picnic blankets are highly recommended as seating is not provided.
- The Whole Family: From toddlers to grandparents, there’s something for everyone in our program!

Mullingar Concert Band is proud to be a staple of Westmeath’s musical heritage. This “Sounds of Summer” series is our way of sharing the joy of live wind band music with the community that supports us all year long.
