Mullingar Town Band Colourguard Shines at Irish Winterguard Finals

A massive congratulations to our MTB Colourguard, who represented the band with immense pride and skill today at the Irish Winterguard Finals Competition.

It has been a season of growth and dedication for the team. With three new members joining the ranks this year, the guard worked tirelessly to refine their routine and build their performance strength. Stepping onto the floor in the highly competitive A Class, the ladies delivered a fantastic performance that earned them an impressive 4th place finish.

The energy and precision shown today are a testament to the months of hard work put in behind the scenes. We are incredibly proud of how the team has progressed this season and how they conducted themselves on the national stage.

A Team Effort

Success on the floor isn’t possible without the support team in the wings. A huge thank you goes out to our dedicated band supporters and our brilliant floor staff – Paddy, Alan, Simon, and Lucy. Your help with logistics and your cheers from the sidelines made a world of difference to the girls today.

Celebrating the Wider Community

The Irish Winterguard circuit is a vibrant community, and it was a joy to see so much talent on display. We would like to extend a special congratulations to Winterfestival (Tallaght Marching Band), who capped off a brilliant season by taking home a winning title today.

Well done to every group that competed and a sincere thank you to the event organisers for putting together such a professional and exciting competition for the performers.

The future looks bright for the MTB Colourguard—bring on the next season!
